Really disappointing fight, for one looked forward to so much. I thought that Groves would win by late stoppage, and to be honest Eubanks was that easy to hit that he should have, but Groves seemed content to just pick Eubanks off and keep him at distance. As for Eubanks he didn't seem to be able to vary his lines and angles of attack at all, and just came across as one dimensional. Billy Jo Saunders is well ahead of both on this showing, and Callum Smith won't have seen anything to keep him awake at night.

Prince Tubs livened up a dull evening, awful fight, schoolboy boxing from Eubank, Groves sat back and just allowed Eubank to make mistakes.
Nas, Eubank just hasn't got it, forget it.

Eubank did not perform on the night, he looked poor on the way in and his timing was out. However, Groves did very little apart from stop Eubank hurting him. Junior was incredibly exposed as he attempted to get close and Groves barely laid a glove on him. All three judges gave him the first three rounds in which a punch was barely thrown. Just surviving and being praised for tying the aggressor up is scant praise of a world champion for me.

Fat Naz must have had a cheeky line or two - at the start playing it like Eubank was the next big young thing to take over the boxing world. He loses, and now he's calling him out to retire?! Funny to watch but not if I'd actually been mug enough to pay nearly £20 for it!

A bit embarrassed watching Eubank. Looked like a talented bloke with no trainer or tactics fighting a professional with an experienced pro team behind him.
I like a bet but didn't particularly enjoy the winnings I got from Groves as the fight opened up.
Take his old man away, give him a proper training camp - he's the better fighter.
